Social Visuals
Having control of the visuals being posted on Social Media enables you to be completely behind the wheel for the kind of message you want to portray. When designing I use my northern sense of humour and sunny disposition even when being informative. I have learnt that people don't want to be force fed information, it's important they are simply digesting it during their normal daily scrolls through the Social Media world. By creating humorous, on trend visuals you give yourself the best chance of them stopping, liking and sharing.
Coworking Space
@theministryse1
Relevant. Amusing. Informative. The Ministry's Instagram quickly became a place where I was able to stay on trend while advertising events and promotions and just talk to our Members in as human a way as possible. Creating a theme of bold overlaid text allows our followers to recognise a post as one of our own. We were never going to have an over designed feed as it would contradict how we
are as a team and a company. Real and to the point.

Boutique Gym
@ministryofsoundfitness
Motivational. Cheeky. Authentic. Ministry of Sound Fitness from day one was a place of community, where you we're able to be yourself and get your workout done.
On our Instagram I developed what I felt the appropriate balance of posts that encourage, push the boundaries of what 'the norm' is and be relatable to everyone. From subtle image manipulation, to Valentine's Day posts that when understood are something most would feel is crossing the line, it allowed our page to be a place where Members and strangers alike can come and seek solace from their every day. Upon creating a structured steady flow of posts using the above as a foundation, we were able to maintain repeat clients, attract new customers and quickly racked up new followers on Instagram each week.

Vegan Coffee Brand
@beanbagcoffee
Informative. Friendly. Innovative. This somewhat newborn, undiscovered brand gave me the opportunity to do everything from sitting with the owner to create a colour palette, choose a font family and learn the story of the brand giving me the best chance of reaching the universal objective of being seen by more people and the eventual goal of sales on a wide geographical scale.
During my time controlling this Instagram, I attended weekend markets to capture real time content and allowed the path of the coffee's success to shape what I needed to do and speak about, to gain followers and convert them into customers.

Engagement
Especially within my time working on the Ministry of Sound Fitness Instagram, I utilised our incredible community, engaged them in conversations and took feedback to continually improve our service. Our best one yet was WHAT IS MOSF TO YOU? Upon the closure of the gym, we asked what we we're to our customers and the responses we're astounding. Real life emotion makes for the best content.

Video Content
Learning that video content is received differently was knowledge I only learnt from designing and trialling different styles of content. I developed a method of utilising stories as a pathway to attract people that our timeline posts may slip by. Engaging them in a place they are more comfortable flicking through and enticing them to swipe up to an offer or advertisement, or even just to our timeline to see more of what we have to offer.
