Quick Projects

My time at University was where I found my love for conceptual design. Solving quick briefs, with the execution sitting something of a second priority, enabled me to exercise my ability to not be precious about an answer.

To realise that there is no such thing as a bad idea, just ones that are better suited.

ROBINSONS SMILE CIDER

The brief was to take an occupation you have/ had and create a non-existing brand. I decided to use my time as a barmaid to my advantage and create a low alcohol Cider. It was something I recognised as a gap in the market at the time and new it would be well received in a live pub environment in a modern 'wellness conscious' world.

MORE PUNK FESTIVAL

We picked a place from one hat and a genre of music from another, the brief... to create or rebrand a festival. Landing on Punk in a town known mostly for Fish & Chips and old people I quickly came to the solution that whatever this festival is, it will most definitely disrupt the norm.

Less scones, More Punk.

ENVELOPE PROBLEM

This day long project pushed us to think more efficiently than usual, with the looming deadline for added pressure. We were given an artist that we were to convey using a type of envelope.

I used the already existing window to portray Charles Rennie Mackintosh and his beautiful stained glass work.
