Charity Rebrand
Jai Dog Rescue, previously known as Streetdog SOS, previously known as Bon Jardin is a charity dedicated to the
sterilisation & vaccination of dogs in Thailand. They rescue & rehabilitate, transforming the lives of street dogs every single day.
The first rebrand from Bon Jardin to Streetdog SOS was a knee-jerk brief, wanting to boost the chances of more dogs being
adopted and saved, to which I created a new brand style that felt strong and demanding. Dark colours contrasted with yellow,
with a stamp like logo to grab people's attention. The accompanying imagery was shocking and harsh, with strong no filter
wording to give viewers a real life view of what life is like for the dogs.
But the pandemic put things into perspective and the upon discussion myself and the client decided that wasn't and isn't what the
brand stands for. They do what they do out of compassion not urgency. The decision was made to soften the brand again and take
it back to its Thai roots. 'The Farm', the place where the magic happens, is surrounded by rice paddies and beautiful natural landscapes,
so it was only right to create a mature colour palette of greens and blues, that help us encapsulate what Jai Dog Rescue really is.

BRAND LOGO
WHAT IT MEANS
It was decided that the logo was to be a symbol of what
we stand for, but I was to create it without using any cliches like paws or bones...
My solution for this was to develop a symbol that sums
up what Jai Dog Rescue is:

40%
Dog like features
30%
Resemblance to
Thai Temple
30%
Upside down heart
(Compassion)
Logo ratio
30%-30%-40%
